We spent a week with Adam’s family on Harbor Island and here’s how it went….

Our days were spent dolphin watching, playing in the sand on our own private beach, kayaking, napping, and consuming wayyy too many snacks between lunch and dinner. Our nights we gathered around the table for dinner, took peaceful walks along the shore, and played fun board games once the kids went to bed.

The calm waves were perfect for the nieces and nephew to play in when we weren’t dodging jelly fish or demanding their 12th golf cart ride throughout the neighborhood. There were so many fun things to do at our house that we only left a few times to visit some historic sites near the island.

I turned 26 at the beach (who wouldn’t love that?!) and although I missed my parents, I felt very loved. I woke up to hand drawn cards and a fresh cup of coffee with breakfast (I have the best sisters-in-law EVER), spent the day relaxing by the ocean, and even snuck in a nap on the hammock. All in all it was a pretty great week and I hope you enjoy a glance into the fun that we had on Harbor Island.
