This rainy, spring wedding at Rocky River Plantation will go down in history as an all time favorite. First of all, I have to give so much credit to an amazing team of vendors who pulled together to make everything happen seamlessly despite the weather. Every detail for this spring wedding was seen to – from colorful florals and linens, to a live band for the reception, clear umbrellas for bridal party, all the way to a live painter that Lilly’s best friends gifted to her – it was simply gorgeous.

Tripp and Lilly were married on the front steps nestled under an umbrella and they danced the night away under a tent tucked under the trees while the rain showered down. I never knew I could love rain on a wedding day quite so much. We had the slightest break in the weather right after the ceremony for bride and groom portraits and it was epic.

Tripp and Lilly are the kindest, most thoughtful people you will ever meet. They are SO loved by everyone and have an amazing family and group of friends who love BIG! After spending the entire weekend with them, I seriously felt like I was family by the time I left. Even with rain pouring down, this whole weekend was fully of joy, love, and the Lord’s grace.
