Right away I knew Rachel was my dream bride because our personalities were almost identical. She was organized, knew exactly what she wanted, all while being open minded to suggestions to make her day extra special. From the first time Rachel and I met at a small bakery in our town I knew that this wedding was going to be filled with so much love and joy. It was no surprise that when wedding day rolled around my feeling was proved right and then some!

We got to meet Max the day of the wedding, and he was just as fun and easy going as Rachel, which is why they are so wonderful together. They complement each other so well and the love between them is so evident when they are around each other (wait until you see their bride and groom portraits #stillswooning).

We truly enjoyed getting to know all of her family and close friends, especially Rachel’s parents. Mr. James married Max and Rachel and when he wasn’t making everyone laugh with his humor, he had us crying. It was a beautiful ceremony and was such a great testimony to marriage and what God created it to be. Mrs. James beamed with joy all day long and made us feel like we were part of their family from the moment we met her.

This was the first wedding we have photographed at Evergreen Plantation, and it was extra special because not only is it an AMAZING venue, but it’s where Adam and I got married! There is something so magical about the property at Evergreen and every wedding we have ever attended there (we’ve been to lots, including our own) is so unique to each couple. We can’t say enough good things about Evergreen and we can’t wait to shoot there again!
