My First Trip to Walt Disney World: Visiting All Four Parks in One Magical Week
My first trip to Disney World completely lived up to the hype — and honestly exceeded it. Before going, I never fully understood why people loved Disney so much, but after experiencing it myself, I finally get it. Disney World truly feels magical, fun, and surprisingly perfect for adults too.
I had such an incredible time and I’m already planning the next visit. I could talk about this trip forever, but I’ll let the photos tell most of the story.
Check out the magic of Disney World for yourself!
Hollywood Studios Highlights
We kicked off the week at Hollywood Studios, and it immediately set the tone for the trip.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway quickly became a favorite — it’s creative, immersive, and genuinely adorable. Walking through Toy Story Land made me feel like a kid again, and the nostalgia alone made it worth visiting.
One of the biggest wins of the day? Securing a virtual queue spot for Rise of the Resistance. The ride completely blew us away and easily ranked as one of the most impressive attractions I’ve ever experienced. As a motion sick girlie I was a little worried about this ride, but with a little bit of medicine I was able to enjoy the ride completely.

A FULL Day at Magic Kingdom
Day two was dedicated entirely to Magic Kingdom, and when I say we stayed all day, I mean it. From rope drop all the way to park close.
We arrived shortly after the park opened and didn’t leave until closing because I had to see Cinderella Castle lit up at night. Even though fireworks hadn’t returned yet, the updated castle lighting still felt breathtaking.
We rode countless attractions, explored nearly every corner of the park, and I took more photos than I can count. Magic Kingdom truly feels like the heart of Disney World. It’s a FULL day park in my opinion.

EPCOT During the Flower & Garden Festival
Day three brought us to EPCOT, and it completely fulfilled all my Flower & Garden Festival dreams.
Everywhere I looked, colorful floral displays and detailed topiaries filled the park. I barely put my camera down because there was beauty around every corner.
The highlight of the day? Meeting Mary Poppins in the tea garden for a quick photo moment — pure Disney magic. We also tried plenty of delicious food and drinks hroughout the World Showcase, but honestly, meeting Mary Poppins stole the show. Will be returning to attempt drinking around the world.
Fair warning: I definitely went photo-heavy in this section of the gallery.

Ending the Trip at Animal Kingdom
We wrapped up the week at Animal Kingdom, and it ended up being the perfect finale.
Pandora’s Flight of Passage became my absolute favorite ride of the entire trip — so much so that I rode it twice. Every minute of the wait felt worth it, and let me tell you it was a LONG wait. I would definitely recommend rope dropping or a lightning lane in the future.
Animal Kingdom feels completely different from the other parks, almost like stepping into another world. The vibes, the views, everything about Animal Kingdom is so well done. The day was spent wandering, exploring, and soaking in every last moment before saying goodbye to Disney.
Pro tip: ride Kilimanjaro Safari in the morning when it’s still cool and the animals are most active. Just grab your coffee on the way, walk right on, and enjoy!

Final Thoughts on My First Disney World Trip
This trip gave me unforgettable memories, nonstop fun, and a whole new appreciation for Disney magic. Having never been as a child and experiencing Disney World for the first time as an adult, I truly felt like a kid seeing it all for the first time and believing in all of the magic. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning after years away, Disney World truly offers something special for everyone — adults included.
I already can’t wait to go back. ✨
