How can this gorgeous girl be engaged?! I have known Ashlyn since she was 8 years old when her big sister Lauren and I met in the 6th grade – to see her all grown up and getting married is so surreal! It fills my heart with joy to be able to capture such a precious moment for such a precious girl that is so dear to my heart.

This surprise proposal and engagement session was exciting to say the least! After getting stuck in the worst Greenville (#yeahthatgreenville) traffic and practically sprinting from a parking lot, Adam and I finally made it to Falls Park to hide with Ashlyn and Cam’s family where we anxiously waiting for Cam to pop the question. The trickiest part of this proposal was that Ashlyn COULD NOT see us otherwise the entire moment would be ruined. My awesome husband stood to the side and tried to give Cam the signal, but he had no clue we had finally made it. Talk about stressful!

After waiting what felt like forever we saw Cam start to get down on one knee. Adam was no where near close enough yet because let’s just say communication with Cam was nonexistent- again, Ashlyn COULD NOT FIND OUT! Adam realized what was happening and literally sprinted up towards them while taking photos!! How this man ran so fast up the stairs AND had every image in focus still amazes me! This was nothing short of a God moment! We made it around the corner in time to catch the main event of Cam giving Ashlyn her STUNNING engagement ring.

We all sighed a huge sigh of relief and jumped straight into Cam and Ashlyn’s engagement session. These two are so cute together and Cayden without a doubt stole the show.
