Derek and Abby were married on a perfect spring day out in the country at Lacee Meadows. This quaint venue is tucked away on a private farm in Belton, SC and was the perfect spot for Derek and Abby to say “I do” with their family and closest friends. Lacee Meadows has the sweetest wedding chapel overlooking a pond, a covered bridge and dock, and of course, the perfect meadow for portraits.

 

I can honestly say I have never cried so much at a wedding as I did Derek and Abbys. So many tears of joy were shed all day long simply because these two are loved deeply by everyone. The entire day felt like it moved at just the right pace, the weather was perfection, and so many sweet memories were made. Derek and Abby chose to read their vows to each other in private before their ceremony and it was one of the best moments of the day. I felt so honored to be present in the room as they vowed to love each other through all life has to throw at them, in the hard times and joyful and even in the silly moments in between.

From Abby’s bridal details that belong to her grandmother, to Derek’s uncle officiating, their day was  filled with so many special details. I’m so honored to have captured their day for them to relive over and over for years to come.
