Jesse and Savanna’s wedding was one of three back to back weddings for us in April. Their wedding was Easter weekend, and it was the coldest weekend out of the entire month. Rain and oddly low temps couldn’t stop these two from saying “I do” and boy did they have a great reward at the end of the day. Literally right before the ceremony began the wind picked up, the clouds parted, and the sun came out to provide a heavenly glow on their ceremony and portrait time. The temps were still chilly, but the glow was more than enough to make this photographers heart happy! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Jesse and Savanna had the sweetest ceremony filled with tears, love, and laughter.

I couldn’t be more thankful they chose me to photograph their wedding. This family means a lot to me and I laughed and cried right along with every special moment of the day. There were so many precious details throughout the entire day. From the patch sewn into Savanna’s dress, the song she and her brother danced to, THE most handsome ring bearer (he has some killer dance moves), to the guests that stayed until the very end to keep celebrating, it was really a great day. Every time I look back at their wedding I will not only remember how cold it was, but how many great memories came from the day.
